Atlantic City
From Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 38 to Atlantic City Expressway; head east. Proceed as below.
From Atlantic City Expressway:
Take Expressway east all the way to the end.
It will merge into Missouri Avenue.
Head east (towards the ocean).
From Missouri Avenue, turn left onto Arctic Avenue (second traffic light).
From Arctic Avenue, turn right onto North Carolina Avenue (12 blocks from Missouri Avenue). Courthouse is at the corner of North Carolina Avenue and Bacharach Boulevard.
To return to the Expressway, use Baltic Avenue (heading west) and turn right at Arkansas Avenue.
Mays Landing From Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 38 to Atlantic City Expressway; head west.
Proceed as from Atlantic City Expressway Westbound.
From Atlantic City Expressway Westbound:
Take Exit 12 (Mays Landing). After paying toll, take service road to the first traffic light and turn left. Turn right at the next intersection onto Black Horse Pike.
Stay to the right on Black Horse Pike.
Turn right at second jug handle.
Follow signs for Route 40 West.
Continue on Route 40 for 3½ miles.
Turn left at the fourth traffic light, onto 32nd Street.
Take 32nd Street to the end
Turn left onto Atlantic Avenue.
Turn right onto Unami Boulevard.
Criminal Complex is on the right.
From Atlantic City Expressway Eastbound:
Take Exit 17 to Route 50 West (Cape May Avenue).
Take Route 50 5 miles to intersection of Route 40.
Turn left onto Route 40.
Take Route 40 two (2) miles past Route 50.
Turn right at the traffic light onto 32nd Street.
Take 32nd Street to the end.
Turn left onto Atlantic Avenue.
Turn right onto Unami Boulevard.
Criminal Complex is on the right.
From Vineland area:
Take Route 40 East to Mays Landing
(be alert, as Route 40 makes turns just west of Mays Landing).
Take Route 40 past the old courthouse at the intersection of Route 50.
Continue on Route 40 two (2) miles past Route 50.
Turn right at the traffic light onto 32nd Street.
Take 32nd Street to the end.
Turn left onto Atlantic Avenue.
Turn right onto Unami Boulevard.
Criminal Complex is on the right.
From Bridgeton and Salem areas:
Take Route 49 to the end, in Tuckahoe.
Turn left on Route 50.
Take Route 50 north for 12 miles into Mays Landing.
(be alert, as Route 50 makes turns just south of Mays Landing)
Turn right onto Route 40.
Take Route 40 to (2) miles past Route 50.
Turn right at the traffic light onto 32nd Street.
Take 32nd Street to the end.
Turn left onto Atlantic Avenue.
Turn right onto Unami Boulevard.
Criminal Complex is on the right.
Parking for Atlantic County Courthouse:
Atlantic City Private parking lots are on North Carolina Avenue (across from Courthouse), and on New York Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues.
Metered street parking is scarce.
Mays Landing Public lots are located behind the Courthouse.
Access is from Park Place. Some street parking available.
BERGEN COUNTY COURTHOUSE DIRECTIONS

From I-80 Eastbound:
Take Exit 66 (Hudson Street).
From the exit ramp turn left onto Vreeland Avenue.
From Vreeland Avenue, turn left onto Hudson Street.
Justice Center is approximately ¾ mile up, straight ahead.
From Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 159 to I-80 East, then proceed as above.
From New Jersey Turnpike:
Take Turnpike North to its northern terminus.
Follow signs for Route 46 West (Hackensack).
Follow Route 46 West past two traffic lights and across a bridge over the Hackensack River.
Just past the bridge, bear right at the first fork onto River Street.
From River Street, turn left onto Court Street (approximately 1½ miles from Route 46), where the Visitor Parking is located.
Justice Center is west of the parking area.
From Route 4:
Use Hackensack Avenue exit, towards Hackensack.
Hackensack Avenue becomes River Street in Hackensack.
From River Street, turn right onto Court Street (approximately 1¾ miles from Route 4) where the Visitor Parking is located.
Justice Center is west of the parking area.
Parking for Bergen County Courthouse: Use Visitor Parking area located directly behind Justice Center, between Main and River
Streets (enter from Court Street). It is an outside lot for a fee.
BURLINGTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE DIRECTIONS

From I-295:
Take Exit 47A to C.R. 541 South.

(Rancocas Road is 4.2 miles from I-295).
Parking for Burlington County Courthouse:
Either the Jurors’ Parking lot on the left side of Rancocas Road (between Park Drive and King Street) or the parking lot on the right side of Rancocas Road just beyond the County
Office Building may be used.
The Shoppers’ Parking lot on Rancocas Road between High Street and Park Drive is for 1 hour parking only.

Take Exit 4 to Route 73 North.
Take Route 73 North to I-295 South.
Then proceed as From I-295.
From I-295: Take I-295 to I-676 (follow signs for Walt Whitman Bridge until signs appear for Benjamin Franklin Bridge; then follow signs for Benjamin Franklin Bridge).
From I-676, take Exit 5A (Mickle Boulevard).
From Exit 5A, turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Mickle Boulevard.
Hall of Justice is on the right, at the corner of Mickle Boulevard and 5th Street.
Old Courthouse (City Hall, 520 Market Street) is at 6th Street between Federal and Market Streets, 1 block north of the Hall of Justice.
From Atlantic City Expressway:
Take the Expressway West to the end.
From the western terminus take Route 42 North to I-676
(follow signs for Walt Whitman Bridge until signs appear for Benjamin Franklin Bridge;
then follow signs for Benjamin Franklin Bridge).
Then proceed as in Step 2 (From I-295) above.
From Cherry Hill, Marlton & Mount Holly areas:
Take either Route 70 or Route 38 West to the junction of the two roads.
From the junction, take 1 of the 2 right lanes and follow the signs for Route 30 West (Camden/Philadelphia).
Take Route 30 West 1½ miles to exit for Federal Street/Campbell Place/State Aquarium.
Take exit ramp and follow signs for Mickle Boulevard.
Hall of Justice is at the 4th traffic light (5th Street and Mickle Boulevard) on the right.
Parking for Camden County Courthouse:
Several public parking lots are in the area, including one on Mickle Boulevard at 5th Street near Hall of Justice and one within the Parkade Building.
CAPE MAY COUNTY COURTHOUSE DIRECTIONS

To Cape May Courthouse: Take Garden State Parkway Exit 10 to C.R. 657 North
(from Parkway Southbound, turn right; from Parkway Northbound, turn left).
Take C.R. 657 ¼ mile to the first traffic light, Route 9.
Turn left onto Route 9.
Courthouse is approximately 1 mile from C.R. 657, on the right side.
Courthouse Commons is approximately 1 mile past Courthouse, also on the right side.
Parking for Cape May County Courthouse:
Parking lot is behind the Courthouse (enter from Mechanic Street); however, attorneys
need an access card to use this lot. Attorneys with Atlantic County Courthouse access
cards may use them, but they must be activated by the Cape May County Sheriff’s office.
To obtain a new card, (usable only in Cape May County lot), contact the Court
Administrator’s office in Atlantic City at (609) 343-2256. Fee is generally $15.00.
Some street parking is also available in the area.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY COURTHOUSE DIRECTIONS

Take Exit 2 to Route 322 East.
Take Route 322 East for 3 miles.
Turn right onto Route 77 South.
Take Route 77 South into Bridgeton (about 22 miles) where it becomes Pearl Street.
From Pearl Street.
Turn right onto Broad Street (Route 49).
Courthouse is on the corner of W. Broad and Fayette Streets, 3 blocks from Pearl Street.
From Woodbury Area:
Take Route 45 South into Mullica Hill.
From Route 45, turn onto Route 77 South.
Then proceed as in Step 3 above.
From I-295:
Take Exit 1C to C.R. 551 South.
Take C.R. 551 South to end; turn left onto Route 49 East.
Take Route 49 East into Bridgeton.
Courthouse is at the corner of Route 49 (West Broad Street) and Fayette Street.
From Atlantic City Area:
Take Atlantic City Expressway to Exit 17 W to Route 50 South.
Take Route 50 South 17 miles into Tuckahoe.
Turn right onto Route 49.
Take Route 49 West into Bridgeton (about 27 miles), where it becomes Broad Street.
Courthouse is at the corner of West Broad and Fayette Streets, on the left.
From Trenton and Camden Areas:
Take I-295 South to Exit 27 (left lane exit).
Take Route 42 South.
Take Route 42 South to Exit 13, and take Route 55 South.
Take Route 55 South to Exit 45.
Turn right off the ramp onto Centerton Road (C.R. 553).
Take Centerton Road (C.R. 553) south approximately 14 miles.
Turn left onto Route 77.
Route 77 becomes Pearl Street in Bridgeton.
From Pearl Street, turn right onto Broad Street (Route 49).
Courthouse is at the corner of W. Broad and Fayette Streets, 3 blocks from Pearl Street.
Parking for Cumberland County Courthouse:
Parking is available in the parking area of a vacated school building on Vine Street between Fayette and Giles Street, 1 ½ blocks from the Courthouse.
Some local street parking is also available.

Take any of these highways towards Newark (they all converge just north of Newark Airport).
Take exit for Route 21 (Newark).
Route 21 becomes McCarter Highway in downtown Newark.
For U.S. Courthouse: From McCarter Highway turn left onto Lafayette Street
Turn left onto Mulberry Street (3 blocks down).
Courthouse is 2 blocks down on the right, between Franklin and Walnut Streets.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Building and Courthouse is on Walnut Street, 1 block further. Note: Walnut Street is closed to vehicular traffic between Mulberry and Broad Streets for security reasons.
For Essex County Courthouse: From McCarter Highway, turn left onto Raymond Boulevard
Turn left onto Mulberry Street (1 block down).
Turn right onto Market Street.
Courthouse is 3 blocks up, at the junction of Market Street and Springfield Avenue.
For Wilentz Justice Complex, take Market Street to Washington Street.
Turn right onto Washington Street.
Wilentz Complex is 1 ½ blocks down on the right.
From Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 145 to I-280 East. Then proceed as below.
From I-280 East:
Take Exit 14A for King Boulevard.
Turn right at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (formerly High Street).
Essex County buildings are about ¾ mile down
(Old Courthouse is on the left, Hall of Records is on the right).
For Wilentz Justice Complex, turn left onto Market Street (immediately before Courthouse).
Turn left onto Washington Street (2 blocks from Courthouse).
Wilentz Complex is 1 ½ blocks down, on the right.
For U.S. Courthouse, turn left on Court Street (5 blocks past Old Courthouse).
U.S. Courthouse is 6 blocks down on the left.
From I-280 West:
Take Exit 14B, Broad Street/King Boulevard.
Turn left at bottom of exit ramp.
Turn left a second time onto Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (approximately 50 feet from exit ramp).
Essex County buildings are about ¾ mile down.
(Old Courthouse is on the left, Hall of Records is on the right).
For Wilentz Justice Complex turn left onto Market Street (immediately before the Courthouse). Turn left onto Washington Street (2 blocks down from Courthouse).
Wilentz Complex is 1 ½ blocks down on the right.
For U.S. Courthouse, turn left on Court Street (5 blocks past Old Courthouse).
U.S. Courthouse is 6 blocks down on the left.
From New Jersey Turnpike:
Take Exit 15W to 1-280 West. Then proceed as above.
From Route 3:
Take exit for Route 21 South (Newark).
Take Route 21 South into downtown Newark, where it becomes McCarter Highway.
For U.S. Courthouse:
From McCarter Highway turn right onto Lafayette Street.
Turn left onto Mulberry Street (3 blocks down).
Courthouse is 2 blocks down on the right, between Franklin and Walnut Streets.
For Essex County Courthouse:
From McCarter Highway, turn right onto Market Street.
Courthouse is at the junction of Market Street and Springfield Avenue.
For Wilentz Justice Complex, take Market Street to Washington Street.
Turn right onto Washington Street.
Wilentz Complex is 1 ½ blocks down on the right.
Parking for Essex County Courthouse:
Street parking is generally scarce in downtown Newark.
Parking is permitted in the juror parking lots near the County Courts Building, between 13th and South Orange Avenues (non-jurors must pay a fee). There are no public parking lots near the U.S. Courthouse, but there are several commercial lots in the area, some outside in open lots and some underground. The nearest are on Washington Street about 1 block from the courthouse on the same side of the street (underground for a fee) and on Mulberry Street between Green and Elm Streets also for a fee.

Take Exit 4 to Route 73 North.
Take Route 73 North 1 mile to I-295 South. Proceed as from I-295 South.
From I-295 South:
Take I-295 to Exit 24A (Route 45). Take Route 45 South (Broad Street) to Courthouse area. Courthouse is at the corner of Broad Street and Delaware Street (C.R. 534).
From I-295 North:
Take I-295 to Exit 21 (C.R. 534).
At the bottom of the ramp turn left onto C.R. 534 (Delaware Street).
Take Delaware Street east about 1 mile to the Courthouse area.
Courthouse is at the corner of Broad Street and Delaware Street.
From Atlantic City Expressway:
Take Expressway west to the end.
From the western terminus take Route 42 North.
From Route 42 North take I-295 South.
Proceed as from I-295 South.
From Cumberland County:
Take Route 77 North to Route 45 North.
Follow Route 45 North into Woodbury, where it becomes Broad Street.
Courthouse is at the corner of Broad Street and Delaware Street (C.R. 534).
Parking for Gloucester County Courthouse
Some parking exists behind the Courthouse on Delaware Street. Juror parking area on Railroad Avenue (down Cooper Street, turn right onto Railroad Avenue) is available. There is a parking lot near the Justice Complex at Hunter and Euclid Streets, and a garage behind the Family Court Building on Cooper Street. Some street parking is available on surrounding streets, particularly near the Justice Complex.
HUDSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE DIRECTIONS
Directions to Hudson County Courthouse
Administration Building

From Newark area:
Take Routes 1 & 9 North (Pulaski Skyway; do not use Routes 1 & 9 for trucks) into Jersey City.
Take the exit for the 1 & 9 North/Lincoln Tunnel/Tonnele Avenue.
At the traffic light at the end of the ramp turn right onto Tonnele Avenue.
From Tonnele Avenue, turn left onto Newark Avenue (4 blocks down).
Follow Newark Avenue to the second traffic light and a 3-way intersection with Summit and Hoboken Avenues.
Bear slightly to the right to stay on Newark Avenue (do not turn to the extreme right, which would be onto Summit Avenue).
The Administration Building and Brennan Courthouse are on the right, approximately 1 block past the 3-way intersection.
Administration Building Annex is on Pavonia Avenue, 1 block west of the Administration Building.
From Routes 1 & 9 Southbound:
Take Routes 1 & 9 South to the Tonnele Traffic Circle.
At the circle, follow the sign that reads “Park/Ride – Journal Square.”
This exit is for Tonnele Avenue.
Then proceed as in Step 3 above.
From New Jersey Turnpike:
Take Exit 14C and use the Grand Street turnoff.
Coming off the ramp, follow the sign for Montgomery Street.
Turn left onto Montgomery Street (approximately 2 blocks down).
From Montgomery Street, turn right onto Baldwin Avenue (approximately 6 blocks down).
From Baldwin Avenue, turn left onto Newark Avenue (approximately 10 blocks down).
Brennan Courthouse and Administration Building are on the left.
From PATH Station (walking):
PATH Station is between Kennedy Boulevard and Summit Avenue.
Take Summit Avenue (rear of station).
Proceed to the north (to the left as you are exiting the station).
From Summit Avenue, turn right at Pavonia Avenue (1 block from station).
From Pavonia Avenue, turn left onto Central Avenue.
From Central Avenue, turn right onto Newark Avenue.
Administration Building is at this corner.
Brennan Courthouse is just beyond Administration Building on Newark Avenue.
Parking for Hudson County Courthouse
Parking is limited in the Courthouse area. The nearest lots are at the corners of Newark and Oakland Avenues (across from the Administration Building in an outdoor open lot for a fee), Oakland and Hoboken Avenues (approximately 2 blocks away), and Summit and Pavonia Avenues.
There are also several lots in the vicinity of Journal Square.

Take I-80 to I-287 South or New Jersey Turnpike Exit 10 to I-287 North or Garden State Parkway to I-287 North.
From I-287, take Exit 17 to Route 202 South into Flemington.
From Route 202 South, turn right onto Church Street (just north of the Route 31/Route 202 traffic circle; sign at intersection reads “Flemington Business Center”).
From Church Street, turn right onto Main Street (second traffic light).
From Main Street, turn left onto Capner Street (½ mile from Church Street, just past Post Office). Justice Center is on right, ½ block from Main Street (front of Justice Center faces intersection of Capner Street and Park Avenue).
From the South:
From the Trenton area, take I-295 to Exit 4 to Route 31 North.
Route 31 merges with Route 202 approximately 6 miles south of Flemington.
From Routes 31/202, take exit for “Flemington via South Main Street.”
Take South Main Street north to a traffic circle (junction of Main Street and Route 12).
At traffic circle, take the exit to continue north on Main Street.
From Main Street, turn left onto Capner Street
(approximately ¾ mile from circle, just past Post Office).
Justice Center is on right, ½ block from Main Street
(front of Justice Center faces intersection of Capner Street and Park Avenue).
From I-78 West:
Use Exit 24 (Oldwick-White House).
From the exit, take C.R. 523 South approximately 10 miles, where it becomes East Main Street.
Take East Main Street into downtown Flemington.
East Main Street merges into Main Street north of the Historic Courthouse.
From Main Street, turn right onto Capner Street
(shortly after the merge Capner Street is just before Post Office).
Justice Center on the right, ½ block from Main Street
(front of Justice Center faces intersection of Capner Street and Park Avenue).
From I-78 East:
Take Exit 17 to Route 31 South.
Take Route 31 South for approximately 10 miles
Turn right onto East Main Street.
Take East Main Street into downtown Flemington.
East Main Street merges into Main Street north of the Historic Courthouse.
From Main Street, turn right onto Capner
(shortly after the merge; Capner Street is just before the Post Office).
Justice Center on the right, ½ block from Main Street

Parking is available at Capner Street parking lot (from Main Street, take Capner Street past Justice Center, then cross Park Avenue; entrance to lot is on the right- free outdoor lot, 1/4 mile beyond the intersection with Park Avenue).

I-195 West merges with I-295 outside of Trenton.
Stay in the far left lane and take exit for Route 29/Lambertville.
Follow Route 29 North through Trenton Tunnel, then take exit for Market Street.
Hughes Justice Complex is on Market Street near the exit ramp, on the right.
For Criminal Courthouse, follow Market Street to third traffic light.
Criminal Courthouse is on the left, at the corner of Market and South Broad Streets.
For Civil Courthouse, turn left onto South Broad Street.
Civil Courthouse is one block down, on the left.
From New Jersey Turnpike Southbound:
Take Exit 7A to I-195 West. Then proceed as from I-195 West above.
From New Jersey Turnpike Northbound:
Take Exit 7 to Route 206 North.
When Route 206 merges with Route 130 North, use left lane and stay on Route 206.
Follow Route 206 to exit I-195 West.
Then proceed as from I-195 West above.
From Garden State Parkway Southbound:
Take Exit 129 to the New Jersey Turnpike South.
Take Exit 7A to I-195 West.
Then proceed as from I-195 West above.
From Garden State Parkway Northbound:
Take Exit 98 to I-195 West.
Then proceed as from I-195 West above.
From Route 1 Southbound:
Take Route 1 South into Trenton.
Just north of Trenton, Route 1 splits into two roads.
Stay to the left (do not use Route 1 alternative).
From Route 1, use exit marked “Capitol Complex – Last Exit Before Toll.” Exit ramp merges onto New Warren Street, facing rear of Hughes Justice Complex. To get to the Criminal Courthouse, turn right onto Market Street. Criminal Courthouse is at the next traffic light, at the corner of Market and South Broad Streets. For Civil Courthouse, turn left onto South Broad Street; Civil Courthouse is one block down, on the left.
From Camden Area:
Take I-295 North to Exit 60, to I-195 West. Then proceed as from I-195 West above.
From Northwestern New Jersey:

Parking is limited in the Courthouse and Capitol Complex area. Some metered street parking is available in the area, along South Broad, Market, and New Warren Streets.
Commercial Parking lots are located at South Broad and Front Streets (2½ blocks north of Civil Courts Building), at the Lafayette Yard Marriott on West Lafayette Street, at Canal and Merchant Streets (near Federal building), and at Yard Street (next to Workers Compensation Office). Hughes Justice Complex has limited parking on a first come, first served basis.

Parking is immediately next to the courthouse in a garage for a fee. The 4 largest other public decks are the Ferren Deck on Church Street, the Church Street Deck between George and Neilson Streets, the New Street Deck at the corner of New Street and Joyce Kilmer Avenue and the Morris Street Deck, at the corner of George and Morris Streets. There is also a small parking lot on Bayard Street, just before the (non-family) Courthouse.

Street parking (metered) is scarce in the area because of the large number of stores nearby. There are some fee meters for a limit of 1-2 hours surrounding the courthouse building.
The Town of Morristown maintains several parking lots in the area.
The nearest is adjacent to 30 Schuyler Place, bordering Ann Street (enter via Schuyler Place or Bank Street).
There is a lot 1 block from the courthouse on Cattano Avenue (large fee indoor garage).

There is a free indoor parking deck off High Street behind the Administration Building. Street parking is available in the area. Along Main Street and along the streets immediately surrounding the courthouse, street parking is metered (1-2 hour limit). Most city-run parking lots in the area also have metered spaces with a 2 hour limit. The small outdoor lots on either side of Davenport Street have some 5 hour and 12 hour meters.

Take Routes 1 and 9 South past Newark Airport to Elizabeth.
In downtown Elizabeth, Routes 1 and 9 descend a ramp and become a level roadway.
Do not use this ramp, but instead use the far right land which descends below ground level.
Take this road to the end (approximately 1 block) then turn right onto Elizabeth Avenue. Courthouse is straight ahead, at the junction of Elizabeth Avenue and Broad Street.
From Routes 1 and 9 Northbound:
Take Routes 1 and 9 North to Bayway Traffic Circle.
Turn right onto Bayway Avenue (Route 439, exit for Goethals Bridge).
From Bayway Avenue, turn left onto South Broad Street (two blocks from the circle). Courthouse is approximately one mile down on the left, at the corner of Broad Street and Rahway Avenue.
From New Jersey Turnpike:
Use Exit 13 and follow the signs for Route 439 (Bayway Avenue).
