Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. New Jersey attorneys selected to the Super Lawyers list undergo a multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, peer reviews by practice area, and independent candidate evaluation, including number of years in practice. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Fewer than five percent of attorneys in New Jersey are named Super Lawyers.
