Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC Sponsors Eva’s Village Charity Donation Program, “Give the Gift”
Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC is excited to announce its sponsorship of “Give the Gift,” a new charitable giving program that benefits the work of Eva’s Village, the well-respected Paterson, NJ non-profit group dedicated to providing shelter, meals, health care, and career assistance to the homeless, poor, and working poor.
Inspired by Oxfam Unwrapped, the Give the Gift project enables donors to “buy” specific goods and services that go directly towards helping those receiving support from Eva’s Village. By visiting the designated Gift the Gift webpage on either the Eva’s Village site or here on our Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC site, donors can browse and click on any number of charitable items to donate. Available Eva’s Village “gifts” available for purchase include providing a nutritious meal for 10 at the homeless shelter (donation cost: $66), textbooks for one person receiving work training through Eva’s Village Culinary School (donation cost: $150), and covering one night of care for a mother and child at the homeless shelter (donation cost: $120).
The project was inspired by our law group’s desire to do something different and creative with this year’s charitable contributions. A member of our tech/marketing team who is familiar with Oxfam Unwrapped brought this concept to our attention — and we loved it! So did Eva’s Village when we presented them with the idea of what we wanted to do. Eva’s Village provided us with a list of items they really need to carry out their mission and we used our tech team to produce the webpages. Now here we are already up and running just a few weeks later!
We are proud to be sponsors of this innovative way to give, and hope you will want to take part. If you have the ability to, we ask you to please consider buying gifts this holiday season for Eva’s Village, especially since we’ve heard that charitable donations have dipped this year and stellar charities, such as Eva’s Village, which has a 4-star (highest) Charity Navigator rating, really do need all the help they can get.
If you’re reading this and it’s after the holiday season, you can still take part! We set up Give the Gift to be a year-round program. Whenever you have a special occasion to celebrate, you can make buy a gift to Eva’s Village as a way to pay-it-forward.
